If a child finishes one of my books feeling a little more confident, determined, or excited about their future, then I’ve done exactly what I set out to do.

I’m Latoya Hylton, the author behind Zuri Izabelle Story Studio—a place where adventures come with heart, lessons come with purpose, and children are encouraged to believe in themselves.

I started writing children’s books because I love encouraging children to become the very best versions of themselves. As a mom, I’ve seen how powerful stories can be. They can spark imagination, build confidence, teach important life lessons, and sometimes even help a child see possibilities they never noticed before. I also believe learning sticks best when children are having fun, which is why my stories are filled with adventure, relatable characters, and plenty of moments to laugh along the way. 

Named after my daughter, Zuri Izabelle Story Studio is a reflection of two things I love deeply: children and storytelling. It’s also a special way for me to share my love of writing with my daughter and show her the value of creativity, hard work, and pursuing her dreams.

My collection includes personalized adventures such as The Determined Unicorn, The Determined Dragon, and The Detective, where children become the heroes of their own stories. I also write original stories like Smart Money Thinking, which introduces young readers to money, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and life skills through relatable characters and engaging adventures. Drawing on my experience as a business consultant and financial professional, I love creating stories that make important life lessons fun, relatable, and accessible for children.

Whether the story is about determination, kindness, confidence, responsibility, creativity, or thinking outside the box, my goal is always the same: to create books that entertain, inspire, and empower.

My hope is that every child closes one of my books believing they can do amazing things—and every parent closes it looking forward to the next adventure.
